Rise to the Occasion - The Viagra Burger

Mr. Bartley's, the famous berger restaurant near the Harvard Square at Cambridge, MA (Google map), serves lots of delectable named burgers. The Tom Brady - ladies, make a pass at this, The Scott Brown - what the truck, The Republican - lying in wait, ... I visited there last January when traveling Boston.

The winner is THE VIAGRA - rise to the occasion, in my thought. I ordered the miracle burger. It looked great on the outside; height, shape, and above all, runny blue cheese. It tasted good too.

But, I couldn't prove the effectiveness of the miracle burger.

Try and Prove it. (Be careful, if you are a man)

Statue of the Three Lies in Harvard University

When I was in Boston last January, I visited Harvard University, one of MUST-SEE tour course of Boston that city map introduces. It's interesting a University is belonging  int tour course. Anyway, the Harvard has lots of stuffs for sightseeing.

One of them is the Statue of John Harvard. The statue is famous for rubbing left shoe for luck. Harvard students used to rub the shoe before getting test or exams. Tourists, especially who want to be a Harvard Student, do that for entering the Harvard. However, among Harvard undergraduate students a longstanding tradition of urinating on the statue at night.

The statue has three non-facts, called The Statue of Three Lies.

First, the statue is really not John Harvard. A 19th century Harvard undergraduate student was used as a model for it. In fact, the statue is not likely John Harvard at all.

Second, John Harvard was not a founder of Harvard University. He was an early financial contributor.

Third, Harvard university was founded in 1636, NOT 1638.

Fraud! did I rub whose foot? But, I believe that I'll have a luck.

Mother Nature, Beautiful and Dreadful

Before getting the news, I left home and see snow-covered park. It's really picturesque link on children's book. I stopped and saw and took some pictures. We had lots of snow, but it's enough to paint white.

Mother Nature, wonderful and marvelous. This morning, I felt pretty good. However, after getting the news, I recognized it again. The Honshu Tsunami, the dreadful nature.

I feel now... very confusing.

Millions of Dead Fish in Redondo Beach, California. Why are fish and birds dying?

Millions of dead fish were found floating at the water's surface in Redondo Beach, Yesterday. Volunteers and officials are racing against the clock to remove the dead fish. Divers are working to complete their survey to figure out how many dead fish are under the surface. It is still unclear what killed the creatures. An investigation was ongoing.

Last month, February 7, thousands of dead fish were found in a Florida state park beach. Investigators believed a lack of oxygen resulted in the deaths of thousands of menhaden fish. The officials say this type of fish is especially prone to dying from a lack of oxygen when they swim closer to shore in such large numbers.

Again, Two months ago, January, we've heard about thousands of Dead Birds and Fish in Arkansas. About five thousands red-winged blackbirds fell from the sky over a mile of land near Beebe. And Observers spotted the fish kill near the town of Ozark. As I know, it's still unclear too. In addition, dead birds and fish were found in Texas, Louisiana, and Kentucky on Early January

Why do we have the dead animals repeatedly?  The earth's health is  getting worse and worse?

Neutral Gear, Saving Gas or Dangerous or Green?

As the price of gasoline goes up day by day,  some drivers say "neutral gear when coasting downhill and stopping in traffic signals, and save money'. Actually, my friend usually does so and he is sure he is saving gas and money.

Is it true?

It seems not. I searched and looked up several sites dealing with the problem. They argue some points.

First of all, it's unsafe. From Popular Mechanics (http://www.popularmechanics.com),
"It's a bad idea to coast downhill or up to a stop sign in neutral. It's unsafe. You need to be able to use the accelerator to avoid an unexpected road hazard; cars don't handle well in neutral during sharp cornering maneuvers when the engine isn't connected to the drivetrain."
Second, it's not a way to save gasoline. It's still arguable between drivers on online clubs, but most of experts and mechanics says that it's same or more gasoline is consuming when coasting or stopping as long as you stop for 3 minutes or more. This result is obtained after testing with different cars.

In addition, it's arguable that frequent changing gears may harm transmission.

By the way, there is one more thing worth mentioning. Besides gas saving issue, neutral gear in traffic signal can save the Earth - about 30% less green-house gases and about 60% less air pollutants. In experiment, drivers change the gear to neutral for 2 minutes, 10 times per day. The result says that 'Neutral gear can save our Earth'. In addition, interestingly, they argue that it can save gas - about 22% less gas consuming.

Save Gas, Be Safe, and Be Green. Which company will create this dream vehicle?

Full Thrilling Desert Tour in Dubai

Dubai. It's the most developing city in Middle East. The city was built on the desert. It's very famous for number of new tech and high rise buildings like Burj Dubai, City Tower, and Dynamic Tower of Dubai. Above all, Burj Al Arab, the Seven Star Hotel in Jumeirah Beach is most famous. The luxury hotel stands on an artificial island and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It'a a Must-See Item when in Dubai.

Excepting that, there is one more MUST Do item, the desert tour. It's a very thrilling and exciting experience.

The SUV car picked me up in the hotel I stayed and drove about one hour towards South from downtown Dubai. When arriving, The desert stretched on all sides as far as the eye could see.

The car had six seats for riding and, fortunately I seated in the passenger seat. About ten cars started in a group. The car started to drive up steep sand hill. It's really steep so I worried that the car is turned over. But no problem. Even some cars ware sliding back.

The level of thrilling depends on your driver. You can feel thrill more as more as the driver is lively and wild. The driver who I had was that kind of person, very wild. He drove one-handed and seemed very comfortable, looked like highway driving. Us? .. in the world-best-full-thrills roller coaster.

By the way, we got a small problem. We got a flat tire. The driver changed the tire easily with another driver following us. He said it occurred very often.

Drivers are changing flat tire

We stopped to watch the beautiful sunset before reaching our campsite where we had the opportunity to do a camel ride, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hand or feet. The sunset had an atmosphere of mystery, it's different from sunset in the beach.

After working up an appetite enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe).

BBQ
Before returning to Dubai we watched belly dancer performing show around the campfire by starlight. She, belly dancer, picked up some peoples and dance with them. I was picked up and I was not good. hum..

Belly Dance Performing Show

When in Dubai, I recommend you to take the desert tour. No disappointment. You can book it online and hotel front when you arrive.
