Bus Schedule Will Be Significantly Changed on March 27

Due to a loss of state funding, Port Authority is reducing service by 15 percent effective March 27. The agency expects to lose 13,000 riders due to the cuts and. The agency will eliminate 270 positions and expects about 180 of those as layoffs. The Harmar operating garage will close.
In fact, the most of current routes will be eliminated or changed. Franklin Park, Glassport, Groveton, Hampton, Homeville, Indiana, Liberty, Marshall, Natrona, Port Vue, Wall and White Oak neighborhoods will lose the total service. Others will face loss of weekend service or reduction of some early or late weekday service. The agency said that other routes will be increased to cover areas that may lose service.

Have Fun in Renewed East Liberty branch of Carnegie Library

I used to visit the library in Oakland near Hillman Library of University of Pittsburgh. When reading books or surfing web, I like to drink coffee from Crazy Mocha inside the library. But, sometimes, many people are there so it's hard to find a great seat, for example in quiet room.
Last week, I visited Carnegie Library at East Liberty. The branch is renewed and re-opens recently - I think end of last year. I just knew the re-opening but I've never visited there because the Oakland branch is a good place enough to enjoy. But it's just my belief.
When I entered the library, I was surprised by the fancy interior. Of course, new one has better look generally. The colors in bookshelves, desks and chairs, and other decoration are refresh. The gap between bookshelves is wide enough that two persons pass or stand. You know the Oakland branch of Carnegie Library has dense bookshelves, especially second floor.
In addition, enough computers are there so that people enjoy internet and do something using softwares. And number of desks having desk lamp are in window side. I did my work for two hours at the desk. My feeling was very comfortable. Nobody interrupted me.

I recommend you the East Liberty branch, when you wanna enjoy your lazy time. If you live at Shadyside or East Liberty Area, just go. There are enough street parking space around there. But Let's walk. Spring is around the corner.

I love Panera Rewards Program

I go to Panera restaurant occasionally to get a cup of coffee and free access of internet. There are enough tables that I can seat any time while using internet.About three months ago, I got Panera member Card. It's not a credit card, but just a reward card. You can get it any Panera branch just asking it to the clerk. It seemed just normal rewards card, getting points and getting rewards.
Surprisingly, I got 3 rewards, two for free espresso and one free bagel. I usually order a medium coffee which price is less than two bucks. I guess that the my total spending on there is less than twenty bucks for three months. I am not a regular customer. But I got 3 rewards. It's almost ten bucks value. And I got another bagel today.
It is a great reward program, isn't it? Oh. Nobody pushes me to post about it.

Borders Pittsburgh Branch is Closed

One of my favorite spot, Borders Shadyside, Pittsburgh, was gone. I really enjoyed it with lots of books, kids play mats, and tasty Seattle's Best Coffee.
All items is on sale 20% to 40%. Book-hunters were using strollers, shopping carts (actually it's form grocery store), and their big bags.
Inside of the book store was mess. The giraffe which usually stands grandly in the kids area saw the disaster with sorrowful eyes.
I wanted to enjoy a last cop of coffee, but I was too late.
I loved the wall next to the cafe in second floor. I will miss it very much.
